Disney President of Production Oren Aviv and Disney VP of Production LouAnne Brickhouse are overseeing the feature film 'The Odd Life of Timothy Green', and auditions are getting underway.
'The Odd Life of Timothy Green' is based on an idea by Ahmet Zappa, who is a principal at Disney-based Monsterfoot Productions and also runs Kingdom Comics, the studio's graphic novel publishing unit. Zappa has a first-look deal at Disney, where he is producing the fantasy film 'The Monstrous Memoirs of a Mighty McFearless,' based on his own novel, in addition to 'The Odd Life of Timothy Green'. Ahmet now has his own staff and offices where he developes story concepts based off the Disney library as well as scouts new talent.
Disney is looking for two name stars to play the parents, but may be casting new unknown faces to play the title role of Timothy Green and the role of Joni. Timothy Green is 9 - 12 years of age. Joni is a girl between 12 - 14. The casting directors prefur the actors who audition for the role of Timothy Green be able to play the drums.
