Treehouse Pictures in association with Anonymous Content are getting ready to begin filming the comedy feature film "Adult World" starring Emma Roberts. Casting for co-starring and supporting roles is taking place in New York City. However shooting will take place in Syracuse, New York where an open casting call is scheduled for the film's extras and stand-ins.
Alex Goldstone and Joy Gorman will oversee production for Anonymous Content, while Justin Nappi and Kevin Turen will produce for Treehouse Pictures. Filmmaker Scott Coffey is directing "Adult World" from a screenplay written by Andy Cochran. Coffey is also an actor whose credits include films such as Shag, Some Kind of Wonderful, Dream Lover, and Mulholland Drive. Anonymous Content producer Joy Gorman is Coffey's manager.
Aside from Emma Roberts, other actors that have been cast are Shiloh Fernandez, best known for his roles in Jericho, Deadgirl and United States of Tara, as well as portraying Peter in the film Red Riding Hood. Shannon Woodward, who plays Sabrina Collins on the Fox television drama "Raising Hope" has also been cast. Puerto Rican actor Armando Riesco has joined the cast as well. (continued below)
