Online open casting call now underway for feature film 'LOL' starring Miley Cyrus and Demi Moore

The casting director for the Lionsgate feature film LOL, starring Miley Cyrus and Demi Moore is currently conducting a national online open casting call. The casting director is specifically looking for people that are over 18 years of age who are able to play roles that are 16-17 years of age. The reason this is often done in the entertainment industry is because of child labor laws. People under the age of 18 have restrictions on the number of hours they are legally allowed to work in one day. In addition, sutudios must have an on-set teacher for actors under the age of 18. Adults do not have these restrictions.

Actorcast, which is a division of Cast It Systems, is assisting the films casting director in conducting this online open casting call. Cast It Systems which last year was involved in casting about 250 movies, more than 100 television pilots and nearly 400 television episodes - persuaded big independent casting directors and the casting departments at most of the major studios and networks to sign onto its service.

Actors who fit the description can go to the films official casting website and upload an audition video. The audition script is provided for each role on the website.
