Disney President of Production Oren Aviv and Disney VP of Production LouAnne Brickhouse are overseeing the feature film 'The Odd Life of Timothy Green,' which is said to be a a high priority for the studio. There is currently a national talent search for the starring role of 'Timothy Green', a boy who is 9 - 12 years of age, and the co-starring role of 'Jodi', a girl who is between the ages of 12 - 14 years of age. No previous acting experience is necessary. Any ethnicity is welcome to submit.
'The Odd Life of Timothy Green' is based on an idea by Ahmet Zappa, who has a first-look deal at Disney, where he is also producing the fantasy film 'The Monstrous Memoirs of a Mighty McFearless,' based on his own novel, in addition to 'The Odd Life of Timothy Green.' Ahmet now has his own staff and offices where he develops story concepts based off the Disney library as well as scouts new talent.
Disney is looking for two name stars to play 'Jim Green' and 'Cindy Green' the parents of Timothy Green, but is open to casting new unknown faces to play the title role of Timothy Green and the role of Joni.
