Feature film with ties to 'The Twilight Saga' films holding open casting calls

The Little Red Wagon Open Casting Call
  The Little Red Wagon

The casting directors for the feature film 'Little Red Wagon' are holding an open casting call in Charleston, SC for starring, co-staring, and supporting roles. The film has some interesting ties to The Twilight Saga films New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn.

The films' production company has a Talent Management division that represents hundreds of successful actors, writers, and directors, including several Academy Award and Emmy nominees and winners, as well as Pulitzer Prize winners. Director clients include The Twilight Saga: Eclipse director David Slade and Breaking Dawn front runner Bill Condon.

Executive producer is Barbara Kelly, who was the production manager on both 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' and 'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse'. “We have a number of speaking roles for Little Red Wagon and are looking for talented actors. You don’t need an agent,” said Kelly. She said local actors close to Charleston are preferred and that extra roles are not being cast at this time.

There is also casting being done out of Los Angeles through agents and mailed-in submissions of headshots and resumes. Shooting on the film will take place from May 24, 2010 through July 5, 2010. Though this story takes place in Florida, South Carolina delivered a package of improved incentives and a ready-to-hire crew and supplier base for the production company.

The film tells the true story of Zach Bonner. When Zach was seven years old, he founded an organization to aid the 1.3 million homeless children in the United States. You can find out how you can get involved in Zach's non-profit organization at the Little Red Wagon Foundation, Inc.

Unfortunately Kathy, I think they tend not to hire people with poor reading comprehension skills. It clearly stated in the article that they were only doing the open casting in South Carolina, and that while the film is SET in Florida, they are doing the shooting in South Carolina.

K.H. You're too young to have such poor self-esteem. You need to sit down with your parents and have a talk, if you ever want to act in the future work on your confidence.

and Jeff lol that was funny, but true. Kathy read!

Hello, Im 18 years old and i am from england. I love to act and although i do not have a agent or any professional expirence. I have been in acting classes since i was very young about 4 or 5 and i am just finishing my second year of A level drama and theatre studies. It would be my dream to be a professional actress but have not yet got anywhere as me and my parents all thought it would be better to build up my confidence! I now feel that it is the right time to pursue an acting career. Do you think it would be a good idea to send you a resume and picture or am i too far away to be considered? Thank you for your time x

How do we go about getting information on upcoming Twilight Auditions without having to pay for that information? I have paid and sent in a Headshots and a Resume to the information I was given on explore talent for both the New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn I and II Auditions. I never recieved any information regarding that they recieved my headshots and/or resume. Or whether I may have an Audition scheduled and where. I have many years working in high volume environments of the entertainment agency. I was honored to be in the movie "The Other Guys" and am looking to build myself more as an Actress and hope to gain more knowledge and experience through working with other sucessful Actors and Actresses. Could someone contact me with a better way of finding information on upcoming auditions. I would love to be apart of the Teilight Saga and hope that my dreams come true. I appreciate those who read my post. Please contact me at csrbeautiful637@yahoo.com

"acting" becoming an "actress"...I remember that was my dream only since I was five years old and here I am...20 years later...still dreaming about it....but something changed in the last few weeks that made me finally wake up from my dream and start doing something about it. I know now that I am so confident that I WILL one day, soon enough start living my dream and only thing I will ever regret is why I haven't done a single thing about it until now. But it's never too late and anything is possible. I was born to be in the world of fame but I just need to get to the right people.
