Universal Pictures and Dreamworks are in production on the feature film 'Cowboys and Aliens' starring Daniel Craig, Sam Rockwell, Olivia Wilde, Paul Dano, Harrison Ford, Keith Carradine, Clancy Brown, Adam Beach, Abigail Spencer, Walton Goggins and David O’Hara. The film is being directed by John Favreau, and producers include Ron Howard, Brian Grazer, and Steven Spielberg. This is a major western that has been shooting in New Mexico, Los Angeles, and Randsburg, California.
Favreau announced that he wasn’t filming the movie in 3D, as previous reports have suggested, because 3D movies need to be shot digitally and he felt a western should be shot on film.
'Cowboys and Aliens' is a science fiction western film based on the graphic novel of the same name created by Scott Mitchell Rosenberg.
