Crystal City was the center of free fun and fashion for the second annual Crystal Couture event.
An empty storefront at 23rd Street and South Crystal Drive in Arlington was converted into a fashion hotspot. The ambiance was reminiscent of a hip New York spot: an empty warehouse bathed in warm red lighting, a DJ pumping out beats near a runway, a bartender taking your orders, and stylish Washingtonians enjoying several local vendors and their merchandise.
More than 50 boutiques and merchants participated in Crystal Couture: Jungle, Jeans, Tats and Tees Tease". Each night featured different designers and their respective collections, with runway showings every 15 minutes. Event goers enjoyed specialty cocktails. They were treated to free hair and make-up consultations, complimentary facials, and unique apparel, jewelry and accessories from local designers.

An empty storefront was converted into a hip warehouse chock full of fashion goods for sale.
DJ Neekola kept the night going strong, pumping out strong beats and bass over blaring speakers.

In keeping with the theme, two models covered entirely in tribal body paint, walked the runway.
