While everyone's attention was focused on New York Fashion Week, the LC Lauren Conrad collection for Kohl's launched nonchalantly on their website. Designed by the Hills reality star Lauren Conrad, the new looks have been in the works since her high-end signature collection went on hiatus earlier this year.
Though not supposed to hit shelves until October, Kohl's dropped the new collection today, revealing the affordable, effortless basics to the world. Definitely California-cool, the pieces are mostly solid-color knit tops and bottoms, great canvases for some really awesome accessories. The dolman sleeve tops, tanks, cardigans and jeans are perfect for pairing with layers of bold necklaces, boots, belts, and studded handbags. Maybe if the debut collection is successful enough, Ms. Conrad will design her own line of accessories? One can only hope.
Since there are currently no Kohl's stores on the Westside, I recommend ordering the collection online... the store offers free standard shipping on purchases over $75. The most expensive item from LC is $60, so make sure to stock up on a few items before heading to the checkout screen.

I'm so happy her line is coming to kohls. I thought the discontinued the line.
