Everyone knows you can find almost every luxury brand for sale in Beverly Hills. The best place to get deals on designer handbags is in a prime location at the corner of Wilshire and Rodeo Drive, but chances are you've walked past it dozens of times without realizing it. Fashionphile boutique is tucked away on the second floor of a white building, behind one discreet, recessed door locked for security purposes (just ring the bell and they'll let you right in). Once inside, follow the red carpet up the stiars and you'll find a vast treasure trove of current and past-season handbags arranged by designer on floor-to-ceiling shelves. Fashionphile deals in high-end luxury brands and middle-tier designers, so many price points are steep, but most bags are still priced 70% or less of the retail price. And since many of the bags are from the current season, that means the bags at Fashionphile are selling for less than the exact same bag located at the designer's boutique right around the corner on Rodeo Drive.
So how does Fashionphile manage to keep their prices low? Well, these bags are all pre-owned... but shockingly, they are not all pre-used. These are bags that were gifts, bought by collectors, carried once to an event by a celebrity, or just purchased and rarely used. Others show signs of gentle wear, but all the bags are in great condition. Everything in the store is guaranteed authentic. Owners Sarah Davis and Ben Hemminger have been in the industry for about 10 years selling pre-owned handbags out of their own homes before buying a storefront on Wilshire, and they have definitely seen it all.
If you're strapped for money this holiday season, or if you'd just like to trade in an old bag for a new one, stop by the boutique with your goodies for a consultation. (It's best to make an appointment first if you have several bags.) Fashionphile can either buy your bag outright or work out a consignment deal with you. They work with anyone and everyone, but they do inspect everything thoroughly before buying. Bags must look relatively new in order to find a place on the shelves of Fashionphile.

All the bags in the store are also online, so don't think there are specials in the store that aren't on their website. However, Ben and Sarah are very accommodating to customers who want to see before they buy or save on shipping costs by stopping by the shop.
Fashionphile is a great place to find discounts on holiday gifts for friends and family, and a great place to find bags that you drooled over in past years but didn't have the money to buy.
