Little girl lost-Shaniya Davis

Little girl lost – Shaniya Davis
No words can summon up the sickness felt by most of the world hearing of yet another tragic ending to another short life. A little angel who had her gentle wisp of a brief life cut short by society’s sickest of the sick. Some are truly sicker than others. The question to ponder: Is possible to get sicker than this?
There’s no answer to that question. We can only study the aberrant mind until we are blue in the psychoanalytic faces, shake our heads and give a good cry. Have at a long, breath-gasping, body-trembling, convulsive outpouring. Cry for another little girl lost, who was videotaped being carried into a hotel room for unfathomable atrocities. To even slightly imagine what took place is to pause and make one-self wonder how far can an imagination go in depravity? Who wants to visualize the undeniable act of such a diseased mind in action?
When crimes like these happen, even the most atheistic and agnostic of men will hope for a hell in eternity for sub-humans that would impose their monstrosities on the defenseless children of the world. Is it possible that a maternal instinct may never have been held for this child, who was the product of a one-night stand? Even the most sacred of believers might suspect the child to be better off if not even brought into this world, only to have such unspeakable things like “sexual human trafficking” used to describe a mother’s criminal charges against her own flesh and blood. Only a mind that is fueled with corrupted chemicals and infiltrated by drug and haze-induced mind sets could even set a scene such as the one with the child being carried in the arms of a depraved man-thing.
Abuse is created in cycles, in a merry-go-round of pain.

On the site of cbsnews.com, an article from October 21, 2009, appeared with these statistics even before knowledge of Shaniya Davis’ outcome.

NEW YORK (AP) - Armed with grim statistics, experts and activists are mobilizing this week to demand expanded federal efforts - including more money and tougher oversight - to reverse a recent rise in the number of children dying from abuse and neglect. Child-welfare advocates gathering for a rally and conference in Washington say America should be embarrassed to have a child-abuse death rate far higher than other wealthy democracies. They cite the latest federal figures showing that an estimated 1,760 U.S. children died from abuse and neglect in 2007 - up 35 percent from 2001.

Have at that good cry now…
