Rampart Casino's new electric vehicle charging system
The Rampart Casino in Las Vegas has unveiled a brand new high-tech electric vehicle technology in its valet parking area, making it the first-ever casino property to provide customers with a low-cost, alternative fueling source for electric vehicles. The Coulomb electric vehicle (EV) charging system, installed by EV-Charge America, offers electric vehicle drivers an efficient and convenient means to charge their plug-in hybrid and electric plug-in vehicles.
With the new EV charging station, customers can charge their vehicles unattended while visiting the casino property. There is no service cost for casino guests.
“The station works by using an advanced RFID system that allows Coulomb Global Network subscribers to authenticate and plug in their electrical vehicles to these handy and free charging sources,” said Bob Rosinski, CEO of EV-Charge America, a Las Vegas-based electric vehicle and infrastructure company that offers energy-related products and services.
