San Carlos-based Natus Medical Incorporated (BABY) announced an agreement Wednesday to acquire Oakville, Canada-based Excel-Tech Ltd. (NRV) in a transaction worth approximately C$62.5 million.

Natus makes diagnostic products to detect health problems in infants and children. Excel-Tech develops and markets computer-based elecro diagnostic systems and disposable supplies used by medical practitioners used in the diagnosis of neurologic and sleep disorders.
