Missing man found dead in Belmont park

BELMONT (Map, News) - A missing San Carlos man was found dead late Friday afternoon in a remote area of a Belmont park, police said.

The still unnamed 36-year-old man was reported missing at around 9:30 a.m. Friday and his body was found at around 4:40 p.m., according to the Belmont Police Department.

His vehicle was found in Twin Pines Park and a subsequent search of the area uncovered his body.

There was no indication of foul play and the cause of death has not been determined, police said.

The man's death is under investigation.
