Raymond Steele is wanted for questioning in connection with three area bank robberies.
Baltimore County (Map, News) - Baltimore County Police are looking for a man believed to have robbed several area banks during the past six months.

Raymond Steele, 36, is accused of looting three banks — two in February, the third in June — by passing a note to a teller and demanding money. In each case, officials said Steele escaped on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Officials described Steele as a 6-foot 1-inch tall black male weighing about 200 pounds. He is thought to be frequenting the Park Heights and Belvedere areas of Baltimore.

The affected branches were a Wachovia Bank in the 1700 block of York Road near Cockeysville, a Provident Bank in the 8600 block of Liberty Road in Woodlawn, and, most recently, an M&T Bank in the 100 block of Chartley Dive in Franklin.

Anyone with information is encouraged to call Baltimore County Police at 410-307-2020 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7-LOCKUP. Callers to Metro Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000.
