Greenbelt man dies in Laurel crash

LAUREL, Md. (Map, News) - A Greenbelt man died when the truck he was driving jumped the curb and struck a telephone pole in North Laurel, Howard police said.

James Thomas Odonnell Lee, 25, was driving a 1995 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup southbound on Route 1, south of Davis Avenue, when his car left the road shortly before 6 a.m. Saturday, police said.

Lee, who was wearing a seat belt, died on impact, police said. Police are continuing the investigation.
