Carroll parking lot to close on Wednesday

WESTMINSTER, Md. (Map, News) - People wanting to do business at the Carroll County Office Building in Westminster may have difficulty finding a parking place on Wednesday.

A portion of the parking area will be closed to traffic while heavy equipment is moved into place.

A crane and tractor-trailer will be moved into the parking area in front of the building on North Center Street to deliver a walk-in cooler to the detention center.

Parking will be available in the side lots along Center Streets, or directly across Center Street near the Business Employment Resource Center.

Parking spaces designated for handicapped drivers will not be affected by the lot closing, and the main entrance to the building will remain open while the work in under way.
