Baltimore County police are investigating the shooting of a teenager near Milford Mill Academy.

About 6 p.m. Thursday, police were called to the high school for a report of a shooting. The victim told police he recognized the shooter, who drove up in a van and exchanged words, before firing striking him in the leg near the school.

But the victim said he didn’t know his assailant’s name and was not helpful to investigators, according to police. The victim ran onto the high school’s property, where witnesses called police.

He was treated at University of Marlyand Shock Trauma Center.
