First Horizon names Black metro president

McLEAN, Va. (Map, News) - McLean, Va.-based First Horizon Bank has named Charlie Black as its new Baltimore metro president. Black will manage relationships for high-net-worth clients. He will also manage growth of the bank in the commercial, private client and retail lines of business.

Black, a Maryland native, served as the company’s senior vice president of private banking and retail services. He brings nearly 25 years of experience in sales/sales management and business administration to the team, having spent the past 24 years with SunTrust Banks Inc., formerly Crestar and Loyola Federal Savings Bank.

First Horizon plans to open full-service financial centers during 2006 in Hunt Valley, Owings Mills and Towson. First Horizon has retail operations in its home loan offices in Owings Mills, Severna Park and Timonium.

The bank employs 13,000 people nationwide and provides financial services to individuals and businesses in more than 40 states.

The Dewalt system is good for notification but the alarm only sounds for 20 seconds and shuts off. The alarm is not loud at all if it were in the middle of a large job site nobody would hear it.
