SAN FRANCISCO (Map, News) - Not surprisingly, Paris Hilton already has managed to catch a break on her jail sentence. The heirhead, who had been set to serve 45 days starting June 5 for driving with a suspended license, will now do only 23, thanks to her “good behavior” — which included such admirable acts as showing up for her court date. Oh, please!
Lohan goes ballistic on her new boy toy
Looks like things have already turned turbulent for Lindsay Lohan and her new boy toy, U.K. star Calum Best. After a romantic weekend in the Bahamas, the high-profile couple returned to NYC, where, on Monday, sources told the New York Post they had a “screamfest” in their hotel.
“Calum’s clothes were torn,” an eyewitness recalled, “and after a few minutes, they got back into the elevator and went back to their room.”
What caused the drama? Rumor has it that Calum has, shall we say, a wandering eye. Witnesses told the Post that on a Saturday club outing, he was “collecting numbers from all the models” when LiLo wasn’t looking.
And the New York Daily News adds that last week, room service discovered a shirtless Calum with another woman on his bed at 4 a.m. The caddish Brit allegedly urged the hotel employee to tip himself out of a pile of bills, declaring, “It’s Lindsay’s money. I don’t care.” Classy!
“All her friends wish Calum would go back to London,” the Post quotes a pal of La Linds saying. “He’s just using her.” We tend to agree.
Britney Speaks
Apparently, Britney Spears has really been feeling the love from crowds at her recent spate of comeback mini-concerts. The fresh-from-rehab singer posted a positively spiritual message on her Web site thanking fans for their support.
“The reason for this letter is to let everyone know that their prayers have truly helped me,” the online message declares. “I am so blessed that you care enough about me to be concerned and will continue to live in this brighter state with all of you by my side during this trying time.” (Doubtless, she’s referring to the situation in the Middle East.)
“We are all the lights of the world and we all need to continually inspire others and look to the higher power,” the blissed-out Britney continues. “You are all in my prayers. Godspeed. Love, Britney.”
“Higher power,” eh? Well, it sure sounds like she’s taking those AA meetings to heart.
Nicole: Too Late?
Paris Hilton is the poster child for spoiled brats on “The Simple Life.” But a new report on TMZ.com claims that while shooting the series’ fifth season, co-star Nicole Richie’s diva behavior surpassed her pal’s.
Per the Web site’s sources, Nicole was frequently late — and, on arrival, would announce her intention of leaving early, telling the crew, “You’ve got me for an hour or two.”
(Well, clearly she had more important things to move on to, like shopping and … er … did we already mention shopping?)
The celebutante’s work ethic allegedly hit a low during the season’s final shoot, when, according to TMZ’s insiders, she waltzed in “several hours late” with rocker BF Joel Madden in tow and had a huge argument with producers, who were forced to call her agent to keep her from bolting.
Nicole’s rep responds that her client acted like a professional during the shoot and dismisses the report as rumor.
Joe Loves John
Joe Simpson was famously at odds with his daughter Jessica’s husband, Nick Lachey. But when it comes to her new boyfriend, John Mayer, he’s nothing but supportive of the relationship.
“If Jessica is in love, I love the things she is in love with,” her impresario papa proclaimed to People at a Tuesday event in NYC. “I want her to be happy. I’m always a fan of his. I love him; he’s got great music.”
So what makes this couple different than the ill-fated “Newlyweds” songbirds?
“There is no competition,” Joe explains. “He’s a guitarist; that’s his thing. Jessica is a singer. She doesn’t play guitar, so there’s no competition.”
So, apparently, if Nick had just learned to strum a few chords, he could have saved himself a lot of grief from his in-laws. Who knew?

How can one contact Jennifer Aniston. My advice would be to have the children she wants now. Then look for a man as she is going to approach a relationship with hopes for children and many men will feel that that is the motivation for the relationship. I generally do not favor having children outside of marriage but in this case, Jennifer can support any future children and then take her time to meet a man with whom she would like to share her life and be a father to her children. Unfortunately, in todays American 'pop culture' television, coming together doesn't mean what you think it means. TV execs want 'edgy' controversial hosts because the bottom line is viewers. The View has very high ratings because people tune in to see what ridiculous thing Rosie is going to say. I don't even think she really believes half of what she says.
