The District of Columbia’s Department of Transportation and City Council Member Jim Graham will hold their final public workshop May 22 to discuss the design of the Lower Georgia Avenue Transportation and Streetscape Project.

The agency and Graham have already held several workshop to discuss the project, which is part of D.C.’s initiative to improve transportation and other quality-of-life issues in neighborhoods throughout the city. The project encompasses the stretches of Lower Georgia Avenue between New Hampshire and Florida avenues and between Fourth Street and Sherman Avenue. The workshop will be held at the Bruce Monroe Elementary School on Georgia Avenue in Northwest from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
