BALTIMORE (Map, News) - A new cable television network focusing on Jewish culture made its debut in the Baltimore market Thursday.

Shalom TV “offers mainstream cultural Jewish television programs that do not represent any specific religious movement or organization,” according to a news release.

“It does reflect and address the diversity and pluralism within the Jewish community. Shalom TV is for anyone with a passion for learning and a desire to gain a greater understanding of Jewish tradition, Jewish life, and the land of Israel.”
