A worker at a Bel Air restaurant was arrested after he was seen chasing another employee around the kitchen with a meat cleaver, the Harford County Sheriff’s Office said.

Deputies were called to the Silver Palace restaurant in the 150 block of Rock Spring Road at about 1:15 p.m. Saturday after a witness saw two men shouting at one another — one of them brandishing a knife.

Shung Gao Lam, 61, of Brooklyn, N.Y., was charged with first-degree assault for chasing 46-year-old Bel Air resident Jin Bo Chung with a meat cleaver and also throwing cooking implements at him, Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Sgt. Christina Presberry said. Chung was not injured.
