WASHINGTON (Map, News) - The Breast Cancer Mortality Report, a new study released Thursday by Susan G. Komen for the Cure, found the District’s 33.7 percent mortality rate among breast cancer patients is well above the 26 percent national average and second only to Louisiana among the 50 states. And D.C. stands alone in breast cancer incidence — 147.8 per 100,000 residents, according to the report. Interviewees reported a lack of coordinated services and long waits for mammograms and follow-up appointments. The city recently issued a cancer control plan to fight the epidemic.

"Chemicals in marijuana called cannabinoids could affect the immune system’s ability to fight a virus." Are you serious?!? Is that all you got to supposedly "link" marijuana to this type of cancer? WMarijuana had nothing to do with this cancer. The author of this article obviously has no clue about what's going on and is stuck in the "reefer madness" era.

As someone who is getting oral sex right now, I'm getting a kick out of this article. Can't say the same about the person with me.
