Bel Air, Md. (Map, News) - Fallston author Bill Bates will sign books at the Bel Air branch of the Harford County Public Library from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday.

Bates is the author of several books about locations in Harford. His “Images of America” series includes books highlighting the towns of Bel Air and Havre de Grace. Using photos from residents, museums and archives, along with stories and reminiscences, Bates’ nonfiction portrays Harford locales through the eyes of those who live in the area.

Bates’ newest addition to the series, which features Aberdeen Proving Ground, is scheduled for release in the fall.

Bates’ books will also be on sale during the signing.

The Bel Air library is at 100 E. Pennsylvania Ave. For more information, visit the library’s Web site at HCPLonline.info or call 410-638-3151, ext. 2224

I am very excited about this tour and would like more information. Could someone please tell us how to visit the bus in the other areas (P.G. Co., D.C., Chantilly, and Arlington). Who should we contact? How do we contact them? Thank you!
