Yes. Sanjaya is a breath of fresh air. He has all that it takes to make a great American Idol. He is the total package. What more can you ask for? Good luck to this teen who took a lot of crap from people with children his age.

Sanjaya has the kind of voice that will sound great in the studio. And as he gets older ( he is only 17), his voice will strengthen in live performance as well. I agree. He has an emotional connection. And he showed a lot of strength of character throughout the whole show.

I really miss Sanjaya and for the first time this season did not watch it tonight. It was very sad to hear how badly people talked about him, including radio stations and news stations, he was just a young man with a dream trying to make it come true. Even with all that bad talk about him he still came on with a positive attitude, I loved it. I hope he will still follow his dreams, overcome his shyness and really show everyone what he has.

I thought he was great, and it was NOT just because of his hair! I loved his singing and performing as well. Even though his voice was not booming, there was a very special quality, an emotional connection. I don't have strong preferences for any of the remaining 6, and probably won't bother to vote.

I love sanjay dont get me wrong.but i knew he cudnt win,that wud just be funny......but i still wish sanjay was der he made me happy,just seeing him,i wish i went to the British invasion week show,so i cud cry and have sanjaya hug me too.he's hot.and he has a more soothing voice than the other 6.If melinda wins it wud be like another boring idol winner again.....plus shes too old.!!!!!i pray phil wins ....hahaha jokes

Sanjaya should have stayed. He made a very boring show fun. He was lots cuter than any of the chubby (I'm being kind) gospel singers who are not great to look at no matter how good their voices. With the exception of stunning Jordin...once she knocks off a little baby fat she'll be dyn-o-mite... And the guys...ugh!!!! Phil Stacy? Bald is not beautiful....Chris is cute but mediocre...Blake? So.so...but good dancer. Probably should be on Dancing with the Stars...

OMG! i liked Sanjaya from the begining and i almost cried when he got voted off last week. not a good night for me. i live near dc so i was so tempted to go today and see if i could get a glimpse of him but other things occupied my time. i am devastated. anyways, i think that nobody will really watch american idol anymore becuz a lot of ppl were just watching to see sanjaya for various reasons. i don't know what will go on the next few weeks but i think that the voting numbers will go a lot down.
