Harford County organizations scheduled to participate so far include Bel Air United Methodist Church, the Anita C. Leight Estuary Center and Harford Habitat for Humanity.
Project ideas for this year’s event include painting murals, building a Habitat house, cleaning grounds, planting flowers in parks or gardens, collecting children’s books to give away, and others.

I think this is a great way for the seniors to remain active and social and a great way to help others. We do that too at the Lansing Library in Lansing Il. We donate slippers to the soldiers as well as premy blankets and hats to the hospitals. There is also a Christmas Tree decorated every year with crochet mittens, hats, and scarfs for the needy.
