SAN FRANCISCO (Map, News) - Is it finally D-day for IDing the DNA of Dannielynn Hope Marshall Stern, the late Anna Nicole Smith’s baby daughter? Web site TMZ.com reports that paternity-claiming lawyer Howard K. Stern took Dannielynn and himself for testing Wednesday in the Bahamas; putative papa Larry Birkhead will also be tested. Results reportedly may take up to four days.
Britney Spears checks out of rehab
After a much-publicized 26-day stint in rehab, Britney Spears checked out Tuesday night.
“Britney Spears has been released by the Promises Malibu Treatment Center after successfully completing their program,” her rep said in a statement.
(FYI, a typical stay at Promises lasts 30 to 45 days, but who’s counting?)
Britney’s release coincided with estranged husband Kevin Federline’s 29th birthday, which he was set to celebrate at a Hollywood club before canceling the bash. A Vegas party is still on for this weekend. “He just wanted to have one party instead of two and wanted to spend his actual birthday ... with his family,” K-Fed’s rep explains.
Could this mean a reunion is in the works? Stay tuned.
Angie’s New Addition
Pax Thien Jolie is home. After new mom Angelina Jolie finalized his adoption Tuesday in Vietnam and secured his visa, the 3½-year-old tyke accompanied her to the U.S. on a private jet Wednesday.
“You can imagine what courage it takes to be in all-new surroundings, with new people and a new language. He is very strong,” the Oscar winner and mother of four gushed to People magazine prior to her journey.
But she recognizes the transition isn’t easy: “It will take him a while to realize he has a family, and that his new life is permanent and that it won’t keep changing.”
Reportedly, Pax has already bonded with big bro Maddox, 5, adopted from Cambodia; the two played in their Hanoi hotel, communicating via sign language.
Ethiopian-born Zahara, 2, also visited Vietnam with her mom, while papa Brad Pitt and Shiloh, 10 months, remained in the United States due to his filming commitments.
“We are slowly beginning to build [Pax’s] trust and bond, but it will feel complete only when we are all together,” Angie said of the imminent family reunion.
‘Wentzson’ On?
Pete Wentz has flatly denied that he and pop starlet Ashlee Simpson are a couple. But for two people who aren’t dating, they sure are spending a lot of time together. According to an Us Weekly report, the pair even pulled off a secret vacation to Mexico.
And it sounds like the singer is falling for the Fall Out Boy rocker. “She really likes him,” an Ashlee insider confided on the tabloid’s Web site.
However, a Pete pal countered, “They aren’t that serious.”

New Nicole Health Scare
After reports surfaced that Nicole Richie allegedly collapsed on the set of “The Simple Life” for the second time Wednesday, the reality star revealed that she is hypoglycemic.
“In her ongoing effort to focus on her well-being, Nicole has recently been diagnosed with hypoglycemia [and] is taking steps to manage it,” a rep confirmed.
Caused by low blood sugar, hypoglycemia can bring on weakness, exhaustion, anxiety and extreme hunger.
During production of the upcoming “Simple Life” season (in which she and BFF Paris Hilton work as camp counselors), Nicole’s condition had become an issue, a source revealed to People: “Four or five times she’s felt really faint and almost passed out. She has to go into her trailer for a good part of the day.” The New York Daily News claims Nicole at times struggled with “walking and speaking clearly.”
Then, Wednesday afternoon, Nicole allegedly collapsed on set.
“She was taken to her trailer immediately,” a source recalled to the Daily News. “But she came around, so the crew didn’t call an ambulance. She spent the rest of the day in her trailer and left Paris to complete the day’s filming.”
Nicole was briefly hospitalized for dehydration after her first on-set collapse March 2. She has previously admitted to seeking treatment for being underweight.

How can one contact Jennifer Aniston. My advice would be to have the children she wants now. Then look for a man as she is going to approach a relationship with hopes for children and many men will feel that that is the motivation for the relationship. I generally do not favor having children outside of marriage but in this case, Jennifer can support any future children and then take her time to meet a man with whom she would like to share her life and be a father to her children.
