SAN FRANCISCO (Map, News) - New Yorkers who woke up looking for a cheerful morning news show were in for a surprise this morning when CBS Channel 2 news reporter Magee Hickey gave them live rats instead. The video, which showed more than a dozen rats scampering around KFC/Taco Bell restaurant, was almost immediately posted to the Internet (on San Mateo-based YouTube's Web site) and featured on TV news broadcasts around the world.

"This circus of rats has been going on for days and even weeks," said Hickey, noting that the popular fast food eatery on Sixth Avenue and West Fourth Street has been cited for numerous health code violations in the past.
