German singer and actress Ute Lemper performs a concert recalling the dark, decadent cabarets of prewar Berlin and the bustling backstreets of Paris.

The evening also features a pre-concert discussion titled “The Rise and Fall of Cabaret Culture in Hitler’s Berlin.”

The event starts at 7 p.m. Saturday with a talk by Peter Susskind; the show follows at 8 p.m.
