BALTIMORE (Map, News) - Internet marketing firms are popping up just like, well, Web sites, in order to add value to Internet companies’ online presence.

TruePresence, an online marketing firm, claims to have just the right tools to help businesses grow in cyberspace.

The company, founded in Baltimore in 2004, has grown into 11 franchises all over the East Coast within the past two years. President Michael Teitelbaum predicts that by next year, 24 more franchises will be created.

appealing to a variety of clients.

“We have companies that sell online, like e-commerce types, we have companies in the medical community,” Teitelbaum said. “What’s interesting about our setup is that we are uniquely positioned to handle companies both large and small.”

Some of TruePresence’s clients include Medifast, Play N Learn and poetry.com.

“TruePresence introduced us to the Internet search market, and has really shown us how important this could be for our business,” said Richard Weintraub, director of marketing for Play N Learn Playground Superstores. “We are certainly seeing a lot of results from our search marketing.”
