Top quality steak is about to arrive on Baltimore’s Pratt Street in the form of Fogo de Chao, a Brazilian steakhouse.

Fogo de Chao has signed a lease with David S. Brown Enterprises and A & R Development for 14,422 square feet of space in Lockwood Place located at 100 East Pratt St. The restaurant joins a series of new retailers arriving on Pratt Street including Best Buy, Filene’s Basement and P.F. Chang’s China Bistro.

Fogo de Chao has six restaurants in the United States — Atlanta, Beverly Hills, Calif., Chicago, Dallas, Houston and Washington.

“Baltimore has no other restaurant concept that resembles the food, atmosphere and serving model of Fogo de Chao, and its unique Brazilian-style of cooking and presentation will be an extreme differentiation in the market,” said John Meyer, a principal with KLNB Retail.

“Bringing this tenant to Lockwood Place is an example of the deliberate leasing strategy we are employing at the project, in an effort to attract destination-style merchants to this strategic downtown location,” Meyer said.
