SAN FRANCISCO (Map, News) - The war between Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton just got taken up a notch.

Lohan, currently taking “a breather” from Harry Morton, hooked up with Hilton’s ex-fiancé, Stavros Niarchos.

Gossip site X17online.com reports that the couple danced and snuggled at chic hot spot Dragonfly in Los Angeles before returning to the Chateau Marmont hotel, where the 20-year-old actress is currently living.

Lohan was spotted leaving the hotel the next day at 4 p.m., while Niarchos began his walk of shame at 6 p.m.

And if you think that Lohan and Niarchos are in love and just can’t fight their feelings anymore, then you really are a hopeless romantic. The truth is Lohan and Niachos are hanging out purely to upset their exes.

According to PageSix.com, a spy overheard Lohan unveiling her plan to Niarchos over the phone, saying, “No one can know I got dumped. You will look like a total stud, and it will drive Paris crazy [if we hang out together].”

Don’t Lohan and Niarchos watch sitcoms or romantic comedies? This plan never works!

Christina, Britney grow up

Lindsay and Paris could learn a few things from Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears.

The dueling pop divas have buried the hatchet on their long-running rivalry. Aguilera even bought a $570 gift bag packed with a hooded towel, overalls and slippers for Spears’ new son, Sutton, according to Life & Style Weekly.

Of course, it could be that Aguilera made up with Spears because she doesn’t see her as a threat anymore on the music charts. Just a theory.

Stop, or my mom will believe it

Orlando Bloom’s mom believes everything she reads about her son.

The “Pirates of the Caribbean” star said his mother continually confronts him about rumors she reads in magazines and newspapers.

“I’m like, ‘Mum, who do you believe? Someone who talks rubbish and creates something or your son who is 29 years old and you’ve known since he was born and brought into the world?’ She believes the rubbish. So do I,” Bloom said, according to ContactMusic.com.

Excuse us, Mrs. Bloom, but we think you should know that your son has an eating disorder, was spotted hanging out with Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton, is dating Stavros Niachos and might be the father of Anna Nicole Smith’s baby daughter.

Things are just falling apart on Fox’s “The O.C.”

First, Mischa Barton bailed the sinking ship. And now, the show’s cutest on-screen-turned-off-screen couple is on the verge of breaking up.

Rachel “Summer” Bilson, 25, and Adam “Seth” Brody, 26, met on the once-popular series and have been together for several years now. But it appears that Bilson’s close bond with her “Last Kiss” co-star Zach Braff is making things tense with her man.

“Zach calls Rachel a lot and they talk on the phone like girlfriends,” a source told Star magazine. “What really eats away at Adam is when Rachel starts talking about how mature Zach is. No guy appreciates his girlfriend comparing him to another guy.”
