Northern Illinois braces for snow storm

A bunch of neo-conservative dimwits, who no nothing about GLOBAL average temperatures and how the science of climatology works, are spouting off again, because local conditions in one part of the world happen to be normal for a change. Just because it happens to be cold and snowy in one place at one time, it doesn't mean climate change is not happening. God spare us these people who have no concept of the scientific methods or theories. You simply cannot get through to people like this. It is hopeless. They still think evolution doesn't exist and that atomic and gravitational theories are "just theories". How embarrassing.

I hope the Red Cross is equipped to handle this kind of storm. Grandmothers, mothers, fathers and children will have to depend on them to help find safe shelters nearby.

Why do we never hear from Gore and his brownshirts during the cold, snowy winter months? Couldn't the supreme meteorologist explain to us why it is so cold during winter? I guess it's kind of like how, when Democrats are in the White House and control Congress, we never hear about the homeless or a poor economy. C'mon, Big Al, put on your parka and snow pants and tell the folks in the northeast, the northwest and middle America how we're causing all this enormous heat.

We should be talking about climate change and this extreme weather is absolutely in line with the scientific data that Gore and others are doing their best to explain to lowest common denominator folks like the posters above.

The southern hemisphere just went through an all time cold and nasty winter. Hundreds died from the extreme cold conditions. The northern sea ice (Northwest Passage) froze up at an unprecedented rate this year. Minneapolis temperatures last month were 11 degrees colder than last year. All caused by global warming. Yeah. Sure.

Weather is affected in both directions due to the fact of Global warming. Continue to drive that SUV all you want because it might be the only thing to get you out of a snow storm that will occur on a regular basis in Florida as you go to vote for another Republican president!
