Article History BALTIMORE (Map, News) - Baltimore native Steve Blair is making his directorial debut in his hometown.
“We have been shooting all over town,” he said of “I Do & I Don’t,” his film about a young engaged couple who discover their own meaning of marriage after enduring pre-marital counseling with a jaded older married couple from their church.
“The young woman’s stodgy upper-crust mom lives in the home in Roland Park, the wedding scenes take place at the Cathedral Church of the Incarnation at the corner of Charles and University, the woman’s job is in the Urbanite offices at Clipper Mill.”
Blair chose to do the movie himself after being refused funding by large production companies.
Karen Glenn, of the Maryland Film Office, described Blair as “one of the region’s most talented independent filmmakers.”
The crew also has shot at Cylburn Arboretum. Blair said he is positive about the universal appeal of the movie and looks forward to joining the film festival circuit.

If Mr Zolotorow should have concentrated more of his efforts on trying to convince Lennon to resolve his differences with Mcartney, then perhaps we might still have the Fab Four...
