A LINK Light Rail train derailed near the Seattle train yard and messed up the afternoon commute for some travelers.

KING-TV reports no passengers were on the train that was just coming into service Thursday afternoon when it derailed. The operator was not injured.

Service to the south of Seattle was slower than usual Thursday afternoon, with trains arriving less frequently.
