Federal prosecutors say three men have been charged in criminal complaints with conspiring to commit several armed robberies that stole hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Sixty-four-year-old Daniel Chase of Brownsville, N.J., 53-year-old Nikolaos Mamalis of Edgewood and 25-year-old Antwone Bell of Rosedale were named in the complaints that were filed Nov. 9.

According to an affidavit, the robberies were committed in July at a Baltimore business and on two dates in September at homes in Pikesville and Cockeysville.

In the Baltimore crime, the business owner died after being zip-tied and duct taped to a chair.

In the Pikesville robbery, $244,000 in cash and jewelry were stolen.
