BREAKING NEWS UPDATE: One woman was killed and two other women were seriously injured after a shooting in SE Washington. Latino gangs and other gangs want to "ruin everybody's Christmas' and other holidays" by making trouble for the neighborhoods. They plan to shoot guns and use packs of matches to set fires. Cathy Lanier mentioned at presstime that at anytime of year, crime has reached epidemic proportions. DC Police say the shooting took place at approximately 11:15 pm Friday, outside an apartment building at the 3000 block of Stanton Road SE. Police would not say whether they had any suspects or if they had any knowledge of what may have motivated the shooting. The victim has not been identified. Many families are soon going to fancy motels to have Christmas dinners because of "neighborhoods at home becoming too dangerous and prospects for street criminals to break in and steal or attack the elderly and children" according to police.

BREAKING NEWS UPDATE: At least twelve families found themselves on the street because of a 2-alarm fire that broke out on the ground floor of their 3-story, garden apartment building. Captain Raul Garcia, of the Montgomery County Fire, says they received a call at about 10:30 AM Saturday reporting fire on the grond floor of the building on the 3000 block of Lockwood Drive, in Silver Spring, MD. Captain Garcia says that when firefighters arrived, the residents themselves had preyty moved everyone out of the building. It took firefighters about 20 minutes to put out the fire and one firefighter suffered minor injuries. It is unclear how many people will be displaced by the fire. It has been estimated that several latino gangs have been setting fires in empty apartments to "ruin everybody's holidays" because of having nothing to live for or anything to lose but to make trouble for the neighborhoods.

i cant believe someone i cared about got shot. i use to talk to his brother and now that we dont talk no more its crazy. people think that all these people getting shot and dying deserve this. well he didnt. he was a funnie, cool, down to earth person. he reminds me of his older brother. i will always care about him and he will always be in my heart.

this IS about tai because alot of people knew him and it is a tragedy that he died so whoever is saying that it is not about him guess what....IT IS!!! and for you to say it wasn't, he was my friend so what if you lost your friend

Tai Lam didnt deserve to die like this he didnt even relly do anything and even if he did which he didnt he didnt deserve to get killed

I first saw him in summer school he was going to 8th grade and he joked around with my class and teacher. I later saw him through all 7th grade and he was in 8th with students, teachers,ect..Now I can't beleive he is dead. I don't want him dead. I pray for his family, friends, and the other three people who got injured. RIP Tai Lam
