Last night, Amare Stoudemire and Steve Nash combined to hit all eight of their first-quarter shots and the Suns used a sizzling 40-point opening period to beat the New Orleans Hornets 124-104.

TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) - Arizona wide receiver Anquan Boldin says he's "moved on" after Sunday's critical comments directed at coach Ken Whisenhunt and his staff. Boldin says he has no regrets about what he said but he's "done with it" and it's no longer an issue. Whisenhunt held Boldin out of Sunday's 41-21 victory at Chicago. Boldin complained afterward that "no one was man enough" to tell him he was inactive.

TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) - Arizona State senior cornerback Terell Carr has been arrested on suspicion of three misdemeanors and booked into a Maricopa County jail. The 21-year-old Carr was arrested Tuesday, the same day he was suspended indefinitely by Sun Devils coach Dennis Erickson for violating team rules. Authorities say the arrest involved disorderly conduct, assault and driving with a suspended license.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - With only two races remaining to crown NASCAR's 2009 champion, Mark Martin is the only driver with a realistic shot of dethroning Jimmie Johnson. But with a 73-point cushion, Johnson only needs to hold steady the next two weeks to win a record fourth consecutive championship. Martin heads this weekend to Phoenix International Raceway, site of his first win this season.
