He did not fail to negotiate the corner, due to the excessive rain and poor Oregon highways the rainwater in the rutted pavement caused him to hydroplane. This corner has claimed many lives in the 31 years I have lived here. Ronnie was a beloved friend of mine nearly my whole life and will be greatly missed.

Debbie was an amazing lady. Our hearts are with Rob and the girls.

Monyette Cooper is my cousin she was leaving Georgia to come down to Baltimore to get my Aunt which is her mother to take care of her because she is sick and i guess she was tired because i knwo my family and i know she would never out her child in jepordy im soo sad and in shock i been crying all day because she was not only a good person a smart person and had alot going for her self she didnt drink nor smoke or anything she was a anger before we even knew it and she will forvere be missed. Emilio's Alfaro death was a tragic. As of today, no criminal charges have been made against certain parties. These are not complex legal issues. It is now up to law enforcement to show their moral responsibility, competence, conscience or corruption, and I pray it is not the latter.

Once again, this is the sister of Larry D Solomon, Jr. the man killed in the Thanksgiving day accident and how dare all of you who are family or friends of the girl DARE TRY and say it was my brother's fault! I am completely enraged at this because you know damn well you were NOT in the car with the girl, and if it wasnt a girl driving the car then apparently she lied about that to. I'm going to say this for my ENTIRE family and on my brother's behalf: NOT ONLY does GOD know the truth, but the evidence SPEAKS the truth...and later when u've come to find that the girl who killed him is NOT being innocent in her words as you think, what will you say then? NOTHING. Just like the girl should've done after the fact. The facts are in the evidence and the evidence clearly shows that young woman who killed Larry Solomon Jr. drove into his car right where he sat. His car did not hit hers. God does know the truth and justice will be served.

To the AP writers... Please re-evaluate your facts. your article states that the westbound drivers in the pickup truck were the cause of the accident. The eastbound vehicle that the driver and passenger (VICTIMS) perished in were the ones that crossed the median and crashed in the westbound vehicle of the couple that survived. Please retract or correct. This incorrect portrayal is being perpetuated all over the web and is infuriatingly damaging to the victims and the survivors that I am related to. I can't believe the obvious recklessness of some random driver could take you away from us so suddenly. Someone who didn't even know you, ended your life. So tragically and hurtful. I hurt when I hear how your car was damaged so and your best friend almost expired as well. And even though they say you went instantly how could you have died without any pain. I hope they're right. We need you here and if I could just rewind time to try and keep you safe for just a little while longer, I would. I just want to say to the young woman who killed my stepson -- I've seen Larry's car and it clearly shows you drove right into his driver's door. He had the right of way. There was no damage to the front of his car. It was impossible for him to have hit you which you and your passengers have claimed. Your comments here and on the radio are not honest and are very upsetting to Larry's family and friends. May God have mercy on your soul.

I am the fiance of the 31 yr old killed in the accident on thanksgiving and theres no feeling worse than just talking to him and him saying he was on his way home just for him never to arrive. You try waiting up for that very moment when your husband/boyfriend walks through the door. The devastation, the hurt, the pain. He was a good man and i'd give anything to have him back in my life he was a blessing from god and he will truly be missed our life together had just begun and i pity you for being in denial. you were in the wrong and when you own up to it you will be better off. Be grateful that you're still alive but justice will be served.

Larry Solomon Jr, was my lil cuzzin & one of my Best Friends, words cannot express the loss we're currently experiencing as a family & community. He was a good young dude full of life and personality, and a very loyal and devoted father to his children whom I think of most during this time. The funeral service is Saturday Dec 6th @ 11am. The young lady driving, i'm sure you have you're side of the story but I've talked to my lil homie Jay the passenger and he explained to me with his own mouth how you were at fault, so please spare us all the verbal abuse & slap in the face. Patience is a virtue, if you could've waited 3 seconds for my lil cuzzin to pass by you would've never hit his driver side door sweetie. We're forgiving people but please don't take us for fools. And by the way it's illegal to make left turns from the far right gutter lane. Like his dad my uncle said, "you'll have to live with this everyday of your own life". I'm the woman from the other vehicle. I'm sorry for you guys lost, I think about this incident all day and night. I'm truly feeling the family's pain and anguish.I know the accident was truly not the fault of mine. I know thats not what the family wants to hear, but its the truth. Everything happens for a reason, and he's in a better place. My boyfriend and I stayed until everyone left, and also my boyfriend held on to the passengers hand and kept telling him to hang in there until the paramedics came. We heard Larry say there is two of us while he was banging inside the car. I honestly wish your family the best. Thank You

Larry I've known you since you were a little boy and seen you grow up into a wonderful young man. I'm sadden to know that we will not see each other any more. But you can now rest in the Lords arms. Your kids will not grow up not knowing who you are, we will let know about the man Larry and what he believed in and stood for. They will grow up knowing their dad through the memories of so many others. They will be fun loving, silly, strong and about the business. Larry we love you, as you already know. I wish you could help me with my groceries just one more time, but now is your time for rest. it's been wonderful knowing you, may the peace of God surround and keep your family during this time.

The 31 year old man was my son, Larry Demetrius Solomon, Jr. He was a good and decent man who left us 3 children whom he loved very much. Larry was a very special person who appreciated his many relationships with a whole host of family and friends as witnessed and attended by those of you there at the prayer vigil held for him yesterday, 11-29-08 at 3:37pm at the intersection of Crenshaw and Rodeo where he died. We will celebrate his life at the funeral - arrangements are pending. We will miss him so very much and will celebrate his life and the many memories he left us with. My dear son Larry, you know how much I love you and I will see you in heaven.
