They should investigate the mother at the Department of Social Services in P.R. She left to the states to avoid them from taking the children away, after the murder of her husband. She lived in Salinas, PR with her 2 children. He will be accused on several accounts of murder and domestic violence to a minor.

Myron Gibson should not be given the benefit of a trial. They should let him stay locked up for as long as he live because he is a menace to society. Anyone that wrestles with a 3-year old is not only stupid but a low-life. If he wanted to wrestle with someone why not find a grown man and wrestle with them. I hope that you do every day of the rest of your life incarcerated. That 3-year old never got a chance at life like you have. Stacey & Casey these young mothers I dont understand. I have a 15 month old and I could NEVER harm her. Emma was beautiful and I find it terrible that she was only with us such a short time. There are many people that can not have children- MOTHERS THERE ARE OTHER WAYS to give your child a better life with a caring family WHY KILL THEM, HELP THEM. Post pardum is not an excuse. I think she should get the death penalty instead of living off the taxpayer. If she had no concern for that little girl life then why should we be concerned with her life? I would have taken Emma in a second and loved her. She is in a better place and is now added to the growing list of tot murders. What is this world coming too.

May baby Emma rest in peace and hopefully the police have the right person in custody. No matter what whoever did this needs to go to jail! It's hard to believe any mother would do such thing. I hope and pray Stacy had more sense then that and was not involved. Growing up she was a very good person and I cant believe she would do such a thing. But who knows now days if it was her or not. The only person who knows is god himself.

That's kind of a BS assumption to say that the Mother used drugs. How do you know? And even if it were true, what an insensitive remark. The mom used drugs in the past, nothing makes sense, but no matter how scare you are there is no reason to dump your daughter like anywhere. May God give the family peace and forgive the Mom. I have a baby and no matter how scare you are, the love you feel for your baby won't let you an act like that.

The death of baby Elijah was so unnecessary and the cause so horrific. My heart is saddened by this act of cruelty & heart-lessness. The blessing in this sadness is knowing that he is in heaven and no more pain. Love you,baby

This is truly horrific. Concerned, if a story like this wasn't a common occurance, it wouldn't be used by anyone for anything. The reason these stories are making headlines is BECAUSE THEY ARE HAPPENING. My condolences for the family, this is heart-breaking. It's something that should never happen, and neither the child nor the parents should have to experience this. It happens all too often presently, and families are being destroyed as a result.

If this little girl had been poisoned by anything else it would have not even been in the news but because of the stigma associated with Methadone and the discrimination towards addicts by anti methadone organizations stories like these are made examples of in the media and society at large. I do not know this family but I I am sure their grief is every bit as real as those who have lost a child by any other means.

Assumptions will get you no where. All of us whether we are parents or not cannot fathom their grief unless we've walked in their shoes. Here are the facts: This was an ACCIDENT! The media hyped it up by reporting falsely in their initial reports. The father was not home when this occured. Lola did not make it to the hospital. The parents are deeply mourning the loss of their little girl. Lola left behind a little sister. The family wants to be left alone so stop with the nonsense and instead lift them up in prayer that God may comfort them in their extreme time of grief. There is extended family who is greatly affected by this and also needs compassion. What ever happened to "Love thy Neighbor"? Peace be to you all.
