Attorney General-elect Ken Cuccinelli has named two former attorneys general and a former state Republican Party chairman to his transition team.

Cuccinelli announced the team in a teleconference with reporters Thursday.

Republican Richard Cullen served as attorney general in 1997 after Jim Gilmore stepped down to run for governor. The former federal prosecutor also led the transition of Bob McDonnell when he was elected attorney general four years ago.

Cullen is joined on the transition team by former two-term Democratic Attorney General Andrew Miller and former state GOP chairman Pat McSweeney.

The executive director for the transition is Bernie McNamee, a former chief deputy attorney general who also directed Jerry Kilgore's move into the attorney general's office in 2001.
