Ingleside

Glen Park, Bernal Heights, Excelsior, St. Francis Wood

Hit-and-run: At 2:35 a.m. Aug. 2, a 31-year-old Daly City man was seen running a red light in his truck and colliding with another car at Alemany Boulevard and Sickles Avenue. Three people were injured. The Daly City man drove off. A passenger in the other car chased the truck and confronted the man when he parked it nearby. The passenger took the truck’s keys so that the man could not flee. The Daly City man was arrested for felony hit-and-run driving.

Grab and go: At 7:09 p.m. Aug. 4, officers were notified that a group of girls went into the American Eagle store in Stonestown, stole some clothing and then ran out of the store toward 19th Avenue with security in pursuit. Officers observed the suspects running across 19th Avenue. Two residents of Turner Terrace and the 700 block of McAllister Street were cited for theft and receiving stolen property. The other runners were detained and released.

Mission

Mission district, Noe Valley

Unlawful work: At 9:35 p.m. Aug. 2, officers observed a person engaging in loitering and soliciting for the purpose of prostitution at 21st and Shotwell streets. The suspect was arrested.

Bayview

Bayview, Hunters Point

Fleeing the scene: At 6:10 p.m. July 30, officers observed a van, with its back window broken, traveling at a high rate of speed at Osceola Lane and LaSalle Avenue. Officers pulled the vehicle over and detained two occupants. Additional officers responded to offer assistance and located a gun in the van.

Two other suspects and an additional gun were located on the street where a shooting had occurred. All suspects were placed under arrest and transported to Bayview Station. No one was injured during the shooting.

Tenderloin

Tenderloin, bordered by Geary, Market and Larkin streets

Suspicion of driving drunk: On Aug. 1, officers pulled over a driver that was driving erratically at Fulton and Hyde streets. The driver did not have a valid license, and the officer smelled a strong odor of alcohol on his breath. After conducting a series of field-sobriety tests, the officers determined that the man was driving under the influence. He was arrested.
