Trailing most of the game, Dream Team turned to Mo Brown in the fourth quarter and the 6-foot-5 guard didn’t disappoint.

Brown scored 10 of his team-high 22 points in the final period, including two 3-pointers in the final two minutes, to lift Dream Team to a narrow 82-80 victory over East Bay in the first game of the best-of-three championship series of the San Francisco Bay Area Pro-Am League at Kezar Pavilion.

Eric Crookshank added 18 points and USF forward Hyman Taylor chipped in 14 for Dream Team.

Jerome Gumbs poured in a game-high 32 points and ex-USF player Jovan Harris tallied 22 in defeat for East Bay, which led by 12 at one point. Game 2 will be held Wednesday at 8 p.m. at Kezar.
