A rare appearance by former Warriors and new Phoenix Suns forward Matt Barnes helped Dream Team knock off Bay Pride 109-102 in the playoffs of the San Francisco Bay Area Pro-Am League on Tuesday at Kezar Pavilion.

Barnes scored 23 points, Ali Thomas tallied 27, 16 of which came in the fourth quarter, and Eric Crookshank poured in 24 to lead Dream Team.

Bay Pride, paced by Deron Perkins’ 30 points and Josh Urbiziono’s 22 points, whittled the lead down to four points late in the fourth quarter, but couldn’t pull ahead.

Dream Team will now meet S.F. City in Thursday’s 8 p.m. semifinal game at Kezar Pavilion.

The semifinal winner will meet East Bay next week in a best-of-three series for the championship.
