PITTSBURGH (Map, News) - Emergency crews are at a Pittsburgh bank after a report that a teller opened a night deposit envelope containing cash and a small amount of white powder.
Authorities say the teller washed her hands and brushed off her clothes and has been taken to a hospital for a blood test as a precaution.
The powder was found about 10:30 a.m. and the bank remains closed.
There are no immediate reports of injuries and no confirmation the substance is dangerous.
The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette is reporting there was not enough powder left for hazardous materials crews to test with a portable device.
