The Prince George’s County police are trying to identify a man who they believe is responsible for more than 20 break-ins in the Bowie area during the last two weeks.

Many of the burglaries occurred during the early morning hours or in the daytime, sometimes while the homeowners were home. The suspect usually entered the residences through unlocked rear doors or by forcing open rear entrances to the homes.

The suspect is described as a black male, with facial hair and a stocky build.
