The locations shutting down include 301 S. Light St. inside the Gallery at Harborplace, 5911 York Road inside Belvedere Square, 1433 Reisterstown Road in Pikesville and Park Place in Annapolis.

The nationwide closings will result in as many as 12,000 job cuts, and a timetable for when the stores will close has not been released.

In all, 12 locations in Maryland will close, including locations in Bowie, College Park, Easton, Gaithersburg, Germantown, Glenn Dale, Waldorf and Wheaton. -- Andrew Cannarsa
