Glen Burnie man attacked, stabbed in the head

Anne Arundel police said a Glen Burnie man was beaten and stabbed by two men - one of whom owed the victim money - before midnight Thursday in a parking lot on Warwickshire Lane.

The victim, whose name was not released, agreed to meet the man who owed him money and brought his brother.

When police arrived, the victim was bleeding badly after being stabbed on the scalp and was released from North Arundel Hospital.

Police have a warrant for one of the men whose name was not released; he will be charged with first- and second-degree assault and related offenses.

The suspects are believed to live in the Glen Ridge or Brooklyn area, police said. Carolyn Peirce

Howard County Wachovia robbed

Howard County police are offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information about a suspect who robbed a bank Friday in Columbia.

The man entered the Wachovia Bank around noon in the 8800 block of Centre Park Drive, approached the teller, implied he had a gun and demanded cash.

The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described as a black male, shorter than 5 feet, about 30 years old, with short hair, medium complexion, and wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans.
