San Mateo County (Map, News) - These are excerpts from Peninsula police departments’ daily log of activities. Incidents are listed by city.
Air, water and metal: A caller reported at 8:04 a.m. July 3 that a suspect pried open an air and water machine, taking $100 in change and causing $2,000 in damage at the Unocal station located at 6989 Mission St.
Looted lingerie: Identity theft was reported at 3:25 p.m. July 3 from the 800 block of Campus Drive for $1,000 worth of Victoria Secret merchandise on a woman’s charge account that she had recently opened, but had never received the account’s card. The purchase was made online from a Daly City address.
Bad campsite: At 2:15 p.m. July 3, a city employee reported that a person had set up camp near the flagpole at Stulsaft Park on Recreation Way.
Soliciting curbed: Soliciting for curb painting without a permit was reported at 2:10 p.m. July 1 at Decatur and Blythe streets. The solicitor was admonished.
Pool shark?: A woman reported that a man in his 40s, who she had never seen before, was in the pool area at 5:38 p.m. July 3 on Waterbury Lane. The suspect had a guitar and backpack.
Hive of activity: At 4:25 p.m. on July 4 an elderly person reported from Treasure Island on El Camino Real that a neighbor had put a beehive on the roof above her bedroom.
Late payments: A man stated at 12:34 p.m. July 3 in the 1700 block of Marco Polo Way that about one year ago his Honda scooter was stolen while he was moving. He never reported it stolen, but is now receiving collection notices on it.
Unfare: A cabdriver reported at 12:52 a.m. July 5 from 1000 Carolan Ave. that a fare went into a building and said he’d return. The man had been gone for more than 15 minutes, and there was no sign of him.
Getting another drink: An intoxicated man was reported to be sleeping under a drinking fountain at 2:31 p.m. July 5 in the 400 block of Primrose Road.
Unregistered: A subject was detained at 9:22 p.m. July 3 in the 500 block of Broadway for a vehicle with a false registration tag. The subject was cited and released.

Sunday July 06, 2008 at 1530 on Hudson St. Redwood City: An Asian man possibly Chinese in his 50's, wearing slippers with white socks and shorts, driving a larger black Mercedes Benz pulled out of 279 Hudson St driveway after viewing an open house and hit a Silver Gray BMW 330ci 2004 without stopping for exchange of identification. Damage to his car would be on his right side of his rear bumper if you are facing his bumper. If you can identify this car or man with this information please email me at tuscany0806@yahoo.com

That is right. Turn those gang leaders in. They force people to be in their gang and they tell them to go do various crimes. Make them scared of you - not you of them. Turn them in to your local police stations. Sick of those old guys going into the neighborhood and getting those young guys to do their crimes. Report the gang leaders. Get a clue.

Hillary Clinton would make a great president. Hillary is a straight forward individual who speaks for all and not just the well connected. People are being threatened and forced to vote for her opponent. If he is the candidate - democrats for McCain.
