Batty: A man reported at 8:19 p.m. June 30 on Roxbury Way that his friend’s wife was causing disturbing issues, but could not specify what the threats were. He claimed that she had a bat in the vehicle.

Millbrae

Traffic snarl: At 10 a.m. July 1 at El Camino Real and La Cruz Avenue, a person who was upset about a lane closure started arguing with a construction worker who was directing traffic.

Foster City

While you were out: An interrupted residential burglary was reported at 11:01 a.m. June 27 on De Soto Lane by a person who returned home from a short walk and found the sliding glass door open and several cabinet doors open. The interior checked clear.

Drunken encounters: At 12:15 p.m. June 24 three men, all intoxicated, were bothering customers and panhandling at Safeway on El Camino Real.

South City

Quick exit: At 1:44 p.m. June 29 a caller said that when she and her husband were on their way home from church in San Francisco, her husband, who has Alzheimer’s, jumped out of the car. She said she tried looking for him but couldn’t find him, so she went home hoping he took a bus, but he was not there.

Air mail: Fireworks destroyed a mailbox at 6:33 p.m. June 29 on the 200 block of Alta Loma Drive. No one was injured.

San Mateo

Sibling dispute: At 10:45 a.m. June 25, an 18-year-old woman reported that her brother, who is 20 years old, hit her with a broom and knocked her to the floor on South Norfolk Street.

Daly City

ID theft: A victim of identity theft was reported at 9:20 a.m. June 28 from 2100 block Wildflower Court when an unknown person used her personal information to open an account with Children’s Place and charged approximately $700. The suspect gave a fraudulent address on the account.

Burlingame

Noisy cleanup: A noise disturbance was reported at 2:13 a.m. July 2 from the 200 block Lorton Avenue for construction noise. A compressor in an alley was being used by the night cleaning crew.
